美秀集團為台灣知名獨立樂團，曲風融合搖滾、台灣民謠及電子實驗音樂等，2018年美秀集團在「電火王」專場活動前，以「每個人都應該有台屬於自己的自製樂器」為口號，在募資平台上發行了以炫炮改編的自製樂器兼專輯，為台灣掀起了一陣實驗樂器的熱潮。

台八線，是一台透過八條雷射光同時控制外圍七彩燈光與聲音的「低科技妖媚裝置樂器」，與樂器相互搭配，製造出身體、音樂、燈光視聽覺同步的絢麗效果。

台八線的八個音階，可以由演奏者自行去設定，不管是大調音階、小調音階、五聲音階、藍調音階等甚至自己研究出的新音階排列方式都可以輕鬆輸入彈奏， 台八線，為美秀集團之「美秀電器」系列第一號作品。

The Invisible 8 is a“low-tech instrument" that simultaneously controls the external colorful lights and sounds through eight laser lights. It is matched with the instrument to create a gorgeous effect that synchronizes the body, music, and light with the visual and auditory senses.

The eight scales of the Invisible 8 can be set by the player himself. Whether it is a major scale, a minor scale, a pentatonic scale, a blues scale, etc., even new scale arrangements developed by oneself can be easily entered and played. The Invisible 8 is the first work in the "Amazing Show Electric" series of the Amazing Show.

Amazing Show is a Taiwanese indie band, feature a fusion music style of rock, Taiwanese folk, electronic and experimental. In 2018, they stated that “Everyone should have their own self -made instrument” before the show “King of Light.” As a slogan, a self-made musical instrument and the album was released on the fundraising platform, which has set off a wave of experimental musical instruments in Taiwan.
